This month, Mama Needs a Break is teaming up with Indigo & Violet Studio to bring you a relaxing night of painting florals!

Indigo & Violet Studio will be preparing a kit of all the painting supplies you'll need for this event - kits can either be picked up for free via contactless pick-up at the studio (1411 W. Irving Park Rd.) or delivered within the Chicagoland area for $7.

This will be a casual activity and paint your own adventure with painting basics, inspiration, and examples. We will introduce watercolor fundamentals using everything in the kit over zoom call. Feel free to bring wine and your favorite candle to create a relaxing space around you while we paint

We will coordinate contactless pickup and local delivery on May 24-26 before the workshop. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Here's what your kit will include:

• 4 sheets of 4x6 watercolor paper (140-pound cold-press paper)
  
• 1 round watercolor brush
• Plastic palette pre-filled with 8 concentrated watercolor pigments
• 2-preprinted floral coloring sheets (8x10)

Here's what you'll need to provide:

• Napkin, paper towel, or scrap fabric to dry your brush
• Two cups of water
