Craft your own unique floral panel to give a second life to dried blooms!

Join Vivant Gardens at Indigo & Violet Studio for this collaborative workshop featuring dried florals and grasses we've both been collecting! We've both been saving dried blooms for years and can't wait to share them with you and see what dried landscapes you create. We'll also share some best practices for drying flowers on your own and blooms that dry especially well - we've learned that some crumble and some last for months and years to come!

All are welcome - no floral experience is necessary - bring your creativity and patience to play with beautiful dried blooms. We will provide detailed instructions + examples. Share this link with a friend or gift a ticket to a loved one to craft together!

Tuesday, February 11, 2025 @ 6:30-8pm - Indigo & Violet Studio @ 1411 W. Irving Park Rd.

Here's what each project will include:

• chicken wire and willow frame (14"x7") premade ahead of time - we'll jumpstart your floral weaving by creating them ahead of time and happy to share how they're made
  
• dried grasses floral elements in a wide variety of textures and colors
• a significant portion of florals are dried in-house at Indigo & Violet Studio, re-purposed from fresh floral workshops, and grasses and florals gathered by Vivant in their gardens
• cutting tools available for use in class
• shallow box for transporting your creation

• Up to 15 projects are available - unique to this project we are including a few two-person/one-project tickets
  
• BYOB beer, wine, or snacks are welcome
  
• Please let us know if a friend or two signs up separately - we'll adjust seating and spacing ahead of time
• Do you have dried florals or objects you'd like to weave into your panel?! Feel free to bring anything along otherwise, we'll have plenty of materials available
