Virtual Painting Workshop - May 1
Join us for a virtual paint (with what you have) workshop!
No experience required - this will be a casual activity and paint your own adventure with painting tips, inspiration, and examples. We will introduce watercolor fundamentals but all paints are welcome - Share this link with your friends so you can paint together (virtually) and feel free to bring a drink or snack to class - all rules are off!
We've missed you dearly! Everything we typically do is in-person but we're launching a handful of virtual classes so we can create together yet apart.
We encourage you to use what you already have in your home to avoid shopping trips or ordering non-essential items. If you have any questions at all about what you have on-hand please feel free to reach out.
Friday, May 1 - 5-6:30pm via zoom call
Here's what you'll need:
- Brush (we like using size 4-6 round watercolor brushes but grab what you have laying around). Don't have a brush bring a pencil, straw or q-tips.
- Paper (we'll be using 3-4 sheets of watercolor paper which will stand up to painting with a variety of mediums. You could also try fabric, cardboard, canvas or wood for a different effect if that's what you have lying around.
- Paint (we typically use watercolor tubes but for this exercise, we will also be painting with wine, black tea, matcha, and coffee - bring what you have! Have acrylic craft paint?! Bring that!
- Napkin, paper towel, or scrap fabric to dry your brush
- Two cups of water
