Join us for beetle pinning with RIP Repurposed!
We're thrilled to host a hands-on beetle pinning workshop where you'll learn the art of pinning and preserving gorgeous jewel beetle!
Discover the full process, from sustainably sourcing to properly hydrating, pinning, and preserving your specimen. You'll work with expert guidance for the entire insect pinning process.
All pinning materials are included as well as a shadow box for your finished piece.
You'll leave with your carefully pinned beetle, ready to display as a unique piece of natural art for your home!
No prior experience is required!

Meet our event partner Domingo with RIP Repurposed!
Domingo is an artist and freelance insect-pinning educator. They created RIP Repurposed as a means to honor life, death, and eternal transition through sustainably sourced insect and bone artwork and jewelry. Their oddities and queeriosities pop-up shop, workshops, and private pinning workshops travel all over the Chicagoland area and are now expanding out of state.
